Rack Snacks® - Our Antler Chews
100% naturally shed moose, deer, elk antler from the USA. No animal is hunted or farmed for their antler. Antlers are shed every year after the rut, and grow back every summer. They do not typically chip, splinter or peel as a cooked bone can, nor do they get lodged in your pet's throat, stomach or intestinal track. All of the Rack Snacks feature the point section of the antler, the hardest and most durable part of the antler. This is what the animal uses to fight off other males during breeding season. The points have the hardest dried marrow and usually the thickest bone layer around the marrow.
The Moose Flatastics® feature section of the "flat" or "palm" section of the moose antler. This is the only species to have this section as their antlers are much larger than those of deer or elk. The Flatastics® are wonderful for puppies who have lost their milk teeth or older dogs who like to chew, but can not have something too hard. These chews will break down, there is more exposed dried marrow, and the bone layer is not as thick. The dried marrow will break up into small "grape-nut" sized pieces that are totally digestable. Flatastics® are not meant for aggressive chewing regular dogs.
