Rack Snacks® - Our Antler Chews

100% naturally shed moose, deer, elk antler from the USA. No animal is hunted or farmed for their antler. Antlers are shed every year after the rut, and grow back every summer. They do not typically chip, splinter or peel as a cooked bone can, nor do they get lodged in your pet's throat, stomach or intestinal track. No odor, no fat and no greasy mess on your floors, antlers can be a long lasting chew when sized appropriately to your pet.  Antler chews are a great alternatives to Nylabone® and raw hide chews. Chasing Our Tails offers several different sizes of each species in points. No dog is too small or too large!  If your dog likes to chew and destroys toys, this is the right product for you!  Our Antler chews are known as Deer Rack Snacks®, Elk Rack Snacks®, Moose Rack Snacks® and Moose Flatastics®.  Information about each type of chew can be found on the succeeding pages.

All of the Rack Snacks feature the point section of the antler, the hardest and most durable part of the antler. This is what the animal uses to fight off other males during breeding season.  The points have the hardest dried marrow and usually the thickest bone layer around the marrow.

The Moose Flatastics® feature section of the "flat" or "palm" section of the moose antler.  This is the only species to have this section as their antlers are much larger than those of deer or elk.  The Flatastics® are wonderful for puppies who have lost their milk teeth or older dogs who like to chew, but can not have something too hard.  These chews will break down, there is more exposed dried marrow, and the bone layer is not as thick.  The dried marrow will break up into small "grape-nut" sized pieces that are totally digestable.  Flatastics® are not meant for aggressive chewing regular dogs.
